Research Interests:
My central research interests involve understanding the nature of human emotion, in terms of its physiological manifestations, variations across gender and culture, and the role of emotion as a transdiagnostic process in the development and maintenance of psychopathology and addictive behaviors. I have pursued these topics from both a basic science and translational perspective.
