Professional Bio

Kristin Perry is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Prevention and Methodology Training (PAMT) program working with Dr. Rina Eiden and Dr. Stephanie Lanza. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology under the mentorship of Dr. Jamie Ostrov and completed her clinical internship with a child emphasis at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her dissertation assessed the development of aggression in early childhood and examined the role of peer risk and protective factors and autonomic nervous system coordination in predicting aggressive behavior. Her more recent research is focused on the role of the prenatal period in the development of externalizing behavior. As a PAMT postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Perry aims to employ quantitative methods in novel ways to better understand the impact of physiology and the environment in relations with externalizing behavior across development.
