Professional Bio

Christina Hlutkowsky is a sixth-year student in the Clinical Child Psychology doctoral program under the mentorship of Dr. Cynthia Huang-Pollock. Her research interests center around the improvement of measurement and assessment of psychological processes with a focus surrounding cognitive factors associated with ADHD in childhood. Her clinical interests center around the intersection of assessment and intervention, differential diagnosis, and flexibly providing evidence-based practices to children, adolescents, and families.

Christina received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015, where she worked with Dr. Timothy Nokes-Malach and Dr. Cristina Zepeda studying teacher-led cognitive skills in urban classrooms. As a post-bacc, she worked with Dr. Susan Perlman at the Laboratory for Child Brain Development investigating child emotion regulation, focusing on irritability, and executive function development during the preschool years using fNIRS, fMRI, and behavioral measures.
