Professional Bio

Jingyi is a first-year doctoral student working with Dr. Rina Eiden in the Development, Risk, & Resilience Lab. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Applied Psychology from Guangzhou University, China, in 2021 and 2024, respectively. After graduating, Jingyi worked as a research assistant in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests focus on the physiological pathways linking adverse family environments (e.g., prenatal substance exposure, negative parent-child relationships) to children’s emotional and behavioral problems, as well as psychopathy.
