Professional Bio

Sohee Park is a Ph.D. candidate in Developmental Psychology at Penn State University, working with Drs. Erika Lunkenheimer and Jenae Neiderhiser. Her research focuses on how parental risk factors, such as parental psychopathology and histories of childhood maltreatment, shape parent-child dyadic interactions and how these interaction patterns relate to children's concurrent and long-term developmental outcomes. She is particularly interested in the temporal dynamics of parent–child coregulation and in developing comprehensive approaches to measuring, integrating, and analyzing multiple components of self-regulation, including affective, behavioral, cognitive, and physiological processes.

Outside of research, Sohee enjoys playing guitar, singing, and creating music covers for her YouTube channel. She also enjoys weightlifting and bouldering.
