Professional Bio

Alicia is an NIMH Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Fellow using naturalistic methods to study how we develop through social interactions. Particularly, she is interested in understanding the co-development of social attention, the mentalizing network and mentalizing behaviors and how this relates to positive social relationships and social anxiety risk. Alicia currently works with Dr. Koraly Pérez-Edgar (NIMH F31 MH121035) and will begin a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Elizabeth Redcay in 2023 (NIMH F32 award pending).
