Elizabeth graduated from Washington State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Animal Science, where she worked with Dr. Masha Gartstein, Dr. Sammy Perone, and Dr. Courtney Meehan studying the biological basis of temperament and executive function. She is now working with Dr. Koraly Pérez-Edgar in the CAT Lab in Developmental Psychology, and Dr. Sonia Cavigelli in the BNEL in BBH. In her current work, she takes a translational approach to examining biological systems underlying temperament and self-regulation development. She incorporates work from both rodents and humans to better understand mechanisms underlying disease risk to ultimately improve health outcomes. She is also interested in the use of dynamic modeling to capture developmental change.
