The Department has set up a "listserv" named L-PSYMAJOR in order to provide Psychology Majors with current information about the department and about opportunities available. If you subscribe to this listserv, you will receive occasional emails with news relevant to Psychology majors. We have automatically included all psychology majors for whom email addresses were available. Unlike some listservs, the L-PSYMAJOR list is "edited" – only representatives designated by the Psychology Department are allowed to post messages, so you will not receive a lot of unsolicited email from the listserv. If you do NOT want to receive these emails, you may unsubscribe by doing the following:

1. Send an email to LISTSERV@LISTS.PSU.EDU.
2. In the body of the message (not the subject line), begin with a blank line, then type the following:

SIGNOFF L-PSYMAJOR

If you want to be ADDED to the listserve, the steps to subscribe are as follows:

• Send an e-mail to LISTSERV@LISTS.PSU.EDU.
• In the body of the message (not the subject line), begin with a blank line, then type the following:

SUBSCRIBE L-PSYMAJOR Your Name

(Don’t actually type in "Your Name", but type your actual name).

If you would rather have the staff in the advising office help you with this, please send an e-mail including your name to Sherri Gilliland (sbg4@psu.edu). Be sure to tell them what you want (to be added or deleted from the list).
