The Emotion Pre-Conference, now in its sixth year, is an annual event where social and personality psychologists can learn about recent trends in affective science, discuss ongoing debates in emotion research, and join a community of like-minded scholars.

This year's meeting promises to be excellent. We will host invited addresses by Barbara L. Fredrickson and Daniel Kahneman. We'll also host two symposia. One will feature Christopher K. Hsee and Baba Shiv as speakers addressing links between emotion and decision making. The other will feature Nathan S. Consedine, Sally S. Dickerson, and Judith T. Moskowitz addressing links between emotion and health. See Speakers for more info).
