Research Interests
My research takes a cognitive neuroscience approach to the development of perception, action, learning, and memory in infancy and early childhood. There are two broad themes to my current research. One focuses on the development of spatial perception - specifically the perception of self-motion from optic flow - and its relation to locomotion. The other focuses on new quantitative techniques for studying individual differences in habituation, a form of simple learning.
For more information about my research, see my personal (http://www.personal.psu.edu/rog1) or lab (http://babylab.psych.psu.edu) web sites.
