| Home | Cognitive Graduate Programs The graduate programs in Cognitive Psychology share the same general requirements with other Ph.D. programs in the Department of Psychology. These requirements are described on the Department's Graduate Studies page. Graduate students in Cognitive Psychology specialize by taking seminars and conducting research in their area of interest, and choosing related courses in consultation with their advisers. Students may also pursue research interests that cross research areas, or that combine research areas in cognitive psychology with topics in related areas or departments. Our graduate students quickly become full collaborators in research, resulting in many student-authored publications. A number of students in recent years have won significant awards. And alumni of our Ph.D. program occupy a variety of impressive academic and other positions. Examples of seminars offered in recent years include: Computation and Information Processing
Language
Perception and Action
