Classroom Links for Interactive Psychology

Description: This site is designed as a tool for Penn State psychology instructors. The site contains links to online demonstrations, activities, videos, and animations that can be used in the classroom to enhance learning and understanding. You will find website summaries that include brief descriptions, instructions, suggestions, and cautions. You will also find links to interactive tutorials that can be used for class assignments.

Instructions: Use the drop-down menus located at the top of the screen to navigate. Use the DEMONSTRATIONS AND ACTIVITIES menu to see summaries for a particular topic area. Topics are ordered to match the table of contents of standard Introduction to Psychology textbooks. Many of the demonstrations and activities require players or plug-ins (the site's summary will tell you if you need one). Use the I NEED A PLAYER menu to get the player or plug-in that is required (these are free). Use the ASSIGNMENTS menu to see summaries for interactive tutorials that can be used as for class assignments. We have just begun to work on this section and hope to add to it soon.

Cautions: Many online demonstrations and activities require a Java-enabled browser. Newer versions of Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer have Java capabilities. If your browser does not support Java, you can click here to download Netscape or here to download Microsoft Internet Explorer for free.

Recognition: 'Best on the Web' listing at The Psychology Place
