Welcome to Grant Support Services

The Department of Psychology provides grant support services to faculty, research personnel, and graduate students in an effort to facilitate both proposal development and award management. These services are detailed on this website and contact information is provided below.

Department of Psychology Grant News

  • All faculty and students who will seek grant funding from government agencies (e.g., NIH, NSF, etc.) need to make sure that they have Adobe Acrobat Professional software as well as PureEdge Viewer software. Acrobat will allow faculty to create and use PDF files and PureEdge Viewer is required to create proposals to be submitted through Grants.gov.
  • All faculty and students who will seek grant funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) need to have an account on NIH's eRA Commons. For more information, please contact Trish Alexander in the Liberal Arts Grants and Contracts office at 863-6475 or talexander@psu.edu.
  • All faculty and students who will seek grant funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) need to have a Fastlane account. For more information, please contact Chris Woods in the Liberal Arts Grants and Contracts office at 865-8030 or cwoods@la.psu.edu.
  • For training on how to use Grants.gov, NIH's eRA Commons, or NSF's Fastlane, please contact Trish Alexander in the Liberal Arts Grants and Contracts office at 863-6475 or talexander@psu.edu.
