KINES 497: Motivation & Emotion in Movement

This special topics course is offered every other year (next in spring 2006) to
familiarize students with theories of motivational and emotional processes as
well as their applications in movement settings. Specific attention will be
paid to contextual factors that influence motivation and emotion in movement
settings (e.g., sport, exercise, rehabilitation).

PSY 443: Psychology of Human Emotion

Reviews, critiques, and applies major historical and contemporary psychological
theories of emotion experience, understanding, and expression. Prerequisite:
PSY 002.
PSY 571: Special Topics in Social Psychology
Dr. Gasper
This course examines how affect, emotions, and moods alter the way in
which people process information, make judgments, and engage in

PSY 597: Special Topics in I-O Psychology
Dr. Grandey
The goal of the course is to introduce psychology I-O graduate students
to the usefulness of affect and emotion theories and measures for
research on workplace phenomena.
